1/22/11 v NY Rangers, 3-2 Rangers in Shootout

I would have been just awesome to beat the Rangers, plus we just really needed this game, but, we got the point.  We’ve gotten points in 6 out of 9 games in January.

This was a great game, we outskated and outplayed them, all the way to shootout, but they used their rookie Matt Zuccarello in the shootout, and he got past Pavelec.

Goalie Matchup was Pavelec v Lundqvist

We got to see Mannino face a couple of shots in warm ups

With Pavs new pads, you can hardly see him

Lundqvist has quite a ritual

Goalie Matchup

Our first discussion

I love Big Buff and I cannot lie

Buff trying to get one past Lundqvist

Thrash always loves to help, as you’ll see in these next few shots

And, then a little face washing!

Lundqvist zoning

Great save, Pavs

One of many faceoffs

Thrash has some very big hands/wings………um

Hey Girardi, you know you never mess with the Captain!

Some people just don’t listen, but it looks like Gaboric is getting a talking to by Buff over there

Great crowd!

Trying to put another one on Lundqvist

The Tomato was in attendance

Sean Avery = Putz

Little makes snow moving the puck

Stewart slides in for a landing, and…………GOAL

At what point did Stepan’s leave the ice?  Oh well, doesn’t matter unless the refs catch it!

Nice Save Pavs!

After this pileup, Pavs had to get redressed

He had to get dressed again !

Pavs blocked, bank right

Thrask taking it easy.

Agatha, our fun Usher.  She’s a Kane fan too  🙂

Lots of snow around Pavs new pads

Lundqvist can’t wait for the girls to get out of his way

Antropov prepping for shootout

 Pavs blocking Shootout

And the shot
